Tips on How to Repair a Leaning Fence:
Not all fences can be repaired with a simple metal bracket or kit. However, you may be surprised at how well they work and how much support they can provide to a leaning fence.
In addition, I’ve realized that strong, metal braces can reinforce older structures enough to provide a long term solution. In other words, you may find a permanent fence resolution rather than just a temporary fix that you expected to find.
Not to mention, using them on newer fences, gates or posts can act as a preventative measure, prolonging or even averting future problems altogether.
Fence Post Fixes: The Chart
Before I started researching how to fix a leaning fence, I never knew many of these repair options existed. Watch out when you start exploring the internet, right?
I figure many other people don’t know about them either, which is why I created this chart. Hopefully, it can help you fix your fence posts without wasting a lot of time or money. =)
Note from Lisa: I estimated the time on these jobs to be greater than they probably will take you. For instance, when I installed the Post Buddy brackets on my fence, I completely finished the repair in 7 minutes. (and I’m no pro!)
